Late 2006 Courtney was ill and on 1st Jan 2007 she was admitted and was soon after diagnosed with
Neuroblastoma, stage 4, a very rare and aggressive childhood disease.

Had a lovely emotional morning, invited to Courtney's school for the end of year assembly
where we can just imagine Courtney was dancing and singing with her friends
and to say goodbye to those who are in the same year as Courtney
and moving on to another school,
the main event for us was to see the remembrance mosaic
that was designed with the school pupils and made.
it was a great pleasure to see this hanging in the school garden
where Courtney will be remembered for many years to come.
tears and emotions were high. I'm sure Courtney would have approved.
